Star Point is an Italian lifestyle brand, founded in 1979, that wants to inspire and dress people who have a deep bond with the sea.
Today is reborn with a new collection, designed by Davide Tognetti, that highlights the brand’s history and write its future.

ASSIGNMENT
Star Point is ready to create a new a personality through its distinctive connection between the city and the sea. The brand needs a new shape for the logo, a fresh visual identity and a coherent positioning.
SOLUTION
We restyled the original logo: a yellow star – symbol of light for sailors who navigated by the stars – set into a black circle and with its tips rounded like a starfish.
The lines are simplified, the typeface is more contemporary. The shade of yellow used is more natural and emotional, like the entire color palette.
We launched the new payoff: Sail the city.
We speak to Urban Sailors, those who see sailing as a state of mind, wherever they are, in any given moment of their day or lives.
The new Star Point identity was pushed through all the social channels, online and offline.
