A small logo for a very big project.
CLIENT
PRO.RA. Brindisi | Projects for Radiotherapy is a voluntary organization founded in 2007 for the purpose of solidarity with cancer patients in the radiotherapy department of the Perrino Hospital in Brindisi. The Association ensures the best welcome for patients and their relatives, taking care of the quality of the environments, services, training of professionals and communication with patients, maintaining the technological devices available at the most advanced levels of research and acquiring new ones.
ASSIGNMENT
PRO.RA. presented the project “Il Giardino della Cura” by winning a competition announcement in the Puglia region with the aim of redeveloping the garden in front of the building and intervening with street art works on the walls. After the renovation of the external facades of the entire hospital, PRO.RA. thanks to the 167/B Street cultural association, it chose colors and designs in perfect harmony, with a result that required a new visual positioning starting from the logo itself.
SOLUTION
The new colors of the hospital inspired the project “Il Giardino della Cura” and in parallel the construction of the new logo which focuses on hospitality and nature.
PRO.RA. logo has become a symbol of the team of nurses, doctors and technicians of the Radiotherapy department that they proudly wear on their colored uniforms everyday.
Transforming a public place with a small big contribution makes the difference in helping patients experience the disease in a more serene way.
